Midsummer is directed by New American Theatre's Artistic Director Jack Stehlin. The production, which is set in 1930's Athens, will be accompanied by original music by composer Roger Bellon and performed live by percussionist Ruman Kazi. Film/Stage/TV star Alfred Molina, who also is a longtime member of The New American Theatre is the production's dramaturg. A Midsummer Night's Dream Shakespeare's comedy "A Midsummer Night's Dream" tells the tale of four young lovers, a traveling troupe of actors, and the mystical fairies who manipulate them all - in a wild night of mischief. Midsummer Night's Dream runs June 1 - June 30, playing Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm; Sunday June 2 at 3pm, and Sunday June 30 at 7pm. Tickets are $25. Midsummer Cast The cast features New American Theatre (NAT) Artistic Director Jack Stehlin (NAT's "Julius Caesar," "Hamlet," "Richard III," Showtime's "Weeds," Al Pacino's "Wilde Salome" (on stage and on film) and New American Studio Ensemble members Robert Cicchini (NAT's "Bedfellows"; Actor and company member Alfred Molina is Dramaturg. Roger Bellon is composing original music for the production. Percussionist Ruman Kazi will perform live. Set designer is New American Theatre's long time collaborator Kitty Rose. Costume design by Barbara Little. Lighting design by award-winning designer Derrick McDaniel. Jeannine Wisnosky Stehlin is producer.
