DENVER - May 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Long summer days offer ample opportunity to travel the back roads around Crested Butte, Colorado, and explore remote field shooting locations with landscape photographer John Fielder, as he leads workshop participants into a colorful world of wildflowers in his favorite – and sometimes his most secret – places. Catch the sunset at Paradise Divide as the last light illuminates Cinnamon Mountain and, the next morning, capture sunrise at Peanut Lake. Then, a visit to an historic ranch to photograph old barns and farmhouses wraps up two scenery-filled days. The workshop concludes back at the classroom with a group-based critique session which allows students to learn from each others’ work.

Appropriate for all outdoor photography enthusiasts, the workshop is designed especially for beginner and intermediate-level photographers. Limited enrollment of 16 participants ensures quality time with Fielder so that everyone gets the instruction they need to advance to the next level.

Two workshops are offered: Thursday-Friday, July 4-5, and Saturday-Sunday, July 6-7. Tuition is $850 per person and includes classroom sessions, a group critique, two field shoots and three meals.
