Director Daryush Shokof Announces His 2014 Action Thriller "Kung King"

LOS ANGELES - May 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Daryush Shokof, director and producer of the upcoming 3D action/adventure "Moon and 8" has just announced his upcoming project "Kung King," a high-octane action/thriller,  currently slated for a 2014 or early 2015 release date. "Kung King" will be produced by Shif Productions and Willow Road Entertainment alongside Daryush Shokof, Shaheen Shokoofandeh and Teresa Schaeffer. Daryush Shokof and Teresa Schaeffer will be tag-teaming the script.

Mr. Shokof is attached to direct and produce 4 films in the next few years, beginning with "Moon and 8", the upcoming 3D action/adventure film in the spirit of "Independence Day," "The Day After Tomorrow" and "The Impossible," produced by Shif Productions and Willow Road Entertainment alongside Raphael Benoliel (Les Miserables, Midnight in Paris), Daryush Shokof, Shaheen Shokoofandeh and Teresa Schaeffer; set for a wide theatrical release run in 2014.

Daryush Shokof is an Iranian director and producer known for the recent international hits "Hitler's Grave" and "Iran Zendan."
