Appointment of Two new Directors at Weir & Carmichael

BOOTLE, U.K. - May 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Industrial packaging and recycling solutions supplier Weir & Carmichael are delighted to announce the appointment of two new directors, Commercial Director Julia Pemberton and Production Director Barrie Williams.Current Commercial Director Martin Ellioth will also now move alongside Barrie Williams Senior to become joint Managing Director.

Julia has worked for Weir & Carmichael for 21 years, in a range of roles, including Sales, Purchasing and Marketing, enabling her to gain extensive and valuable business experience. Prior joining Weir & Carmichael she worked in marketing roles for Yellow Pages and 3M. She will be the first female Director in the business since it was founded in 1955.

Barrie Williams has worked for Weir & Carmichael for 25 years and is the third generation of the Williams family to be involved in the business. Initially gaining experience in Production he has spent the majority of his time at Weir & Carmichael working in Sales and latterly overseen the Production facility.
