CASE SKBIT Technology Gets Global Exposure in Steel Market

SKBIT technology manufactures sponge iron from 0.015-0.03 million tons per year. With this technology, there is no need to make pellets which are essentially required for rotary kiln input of iron ore fines. So the basic advantages are economy and pollution. Further, CASE SKBIT process allows the use of huge quantities of iron ore fines lying with units operating rotary kiln.”

The exclusive ‘Tech Speak’ section also covered some technical details of India’s longest DRI Tunnel Kiln (194m). The plant was commissioned by CASE for Mahalaxmi TMT Pvt Ltd in Wardha, Maharashtra.
