Sports Performance Group Athletes Continue to Gain Athletic Achievements Throughout College Years

Rockville Centre's SPG Alum Jackie Cifarelli and Sarah Croutier are recognized for accomplishments in College Women’s Lacrosse.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. - May 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Rockville Center natives, Jackie Cifarelli and Sarah Croutier began training with Sports Performance Group in 7th grade. Both college athletes have taken the skills and training provided to them throughout their years at SPG and have used them to thrive at the some of the most competitive athletic levels.

Jackie Cifarelli now a Sophomore at Ohio State, was second in the American Lacrosse Conference (ALC), and was placed in the top 10 of the NCAA in assists throughout the entire season. Cifarelli finished the year at Ohio State as third-all time in single season assists for the Buckeyes. As a result of her athletic performance throughout the season, Cifarelli was named Second Team All-West/Midwest Region selections by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). This year Cifarelli qualifies to be on the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association’s, All-American teams which are to be announced on May 17th.

Making headlines in other Women’s Lacrosse news, is SPG Alumni Sarah Croutier a freshman at Siena College. At the Siena College Athletic Department’s annual All-Sports Celebration, student athletes are honored for their achievements both on and off the playing field. At this season’s celebration, Sarah Croutier was recognized as Siena’s top freshman, which only marks the start of Croutier’s athletic accomplishments during her college career.

For more than a decade, Jude has coached professional strength and conditioning, created and led health and fitness seminars, and designed, managed and operated several successful facilities. On the world-class track and field level, Jude has coached 4 world championship medalists, 14 Olympians over the last 4 Olympics, and national champions from 16 countries. He has also taught Olympic lifting techniques and plyometrics on a competitive level.
