“Starting a small business can be intimidating, especially with our economy.  I know this firsthand because I myself am a small business owner.  ”, is the reply received from host and CB|PR CEO, LaCier Black when asked why she organized this event.

According to the most current federal data available, Georgia has 722,089 small businesses.  Of those businesses -198,271 have employees- which mean the remaining 523,818 are Georgia small businesses that have no employees!   CNNMoney.com in conjunction with the Kauffman Foundation, list Atlanta among the most business friendly communities in America!  In a population of 5,376,285 this report identifies Atlanta as having 129,796 of small business owners (1-49 employees).

Black explains, it’s this research that is the basis and principle surrounding Building Bridges for Small Business (BB|SB).  “It is this market niche that requires the most support.  To remain in a competitive market, business owners require resources of all kind.  BB|SB is designed to accomplish just this!”  Cier B. Public Relations is launching their kick-off event with the support and sponsorship of Airport Hotel Indigo, Sales Manager Deondra Askew.  This event targets the City of College Park, hopes are to take this event throughout the city of Atlanta reaching out to small business owners everywhere.

BB|SB is free for the community, but registration and tickets are required in that spacing can only accommodate 50 small business owners.  Further and detailed information can be found www.buildingbridgesforsmallbusiness.eventbrite.com.
