BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - May 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Black Creek Integrated Systems is pleased to announce its IMAGE Certification via the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.  Scherry E. Douglas, Assistant Special Agent in Charge for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, visited Black Creek’s Irondale campus this April to officiate the agreement.  IMAGE Certification is granted to select businesses who qualify.  This entails a series of rigorous audits and compliance guidelines that demonstrate adherence to U.S. Immigration standards.  Black Creek Integrated Systems Corp. is the only corrections-focused security control and software management company currently enrolled in the IMAGE Partner certification program.

Black Creek will offer ongoing feedback to the IMAGE division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as part of its ongoing commitment to contribute to the program.  Additionally, Black Creek agrees to adhere to the “Best Employment Practices” outlined by IMAGE.  This includes using the government E-Verify system, using the SSNVS for wage reporting purposes and conducting periodic Form I-9 audits.  These measures will formalize compliance with the Department of Homeland Security and will also provide a high level of assurance to government agencies regarding Black Creek’s commitment to exceptional employment.
