Ted Nugent Stops by Exodus Place to Shoot Archery with the Men

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - May 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Before his concert on Tuesday at the Van Andel Arena, Rock 'N Roll legend, Ted Nugent will be coming to Exodus Place.  Ted will participate in an archery exhibition alongside the men of Exodus. Exodus is the only place that Ted will be doing one on one media interviews while he is in town.

Fast Facts:

·         Exodus Place is a facility for once homeless military veterans and other men in need.  

·         Exodus Place is not a homeless shelter or a rescue mission

·         We offer housing, 3 chef-prepared meals daily, employment assistance, counseling, recovery meetings, medicine distribution, various recreational activities, a work therapy program, an array of classes, mentoring, fellowship and more.  We also work closely with over 14 health organizations, local police and parole officers, Goodwill, Hospice and Spectrum Health, case workers, and community service members,

·         We recently brought NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) to the facility.

·         The archery program is in over 900 schools in 47 states and this is the first time this program has been used in a facility like Exodus.

·         The archery exhibition will showcase the Archery Program by demonstrating the fellowship, cooperation, determination, Christian spirit, and archery skills the men of Exodus have acquired from the program.
