Pick-Axed! A Totally Awesome 80’s Party to Die For!

HOUSTON - May 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Ever dreamed of dying a gruesome bloody death in a horror film? Well, you now have a chance! On Thursday, May 23rd, 2013, First Week of Winter Films and Deviant Union Events will be hosting a huge 80’s style party at Numbers Night Club in Houston, Texas to raise funds for the 80’s slasher style film The Pick-Axe Murders III: The Final Chapter.  VIP ticket holders receive a goodie bag and one lucky VIP bag will include a certificate to be a “feature kill” in the film and get their chance to die a bloody, gruesome death on screen!

Jenna Green, contestant on season 4 of the Syfy channel’s hit tv show Face Off will be our special guest and will be doing a live special effects make up demonstration. We have an evening packed with fun and entertainment for you. Grab your 80’s costume and enter our costume contest! If you think you have what it takes, you can scream your lungs out in our Scream Queen Contest hosted by none other than Indie Scream Queen herself Roxy Vandiver. We will be rocking in true 80’s style with Thunder Pants, an amazing 80’s glam rock cover band playing all of those 80’s hits you know and love.  Performances of the evening include a shadow cast performance group called After Midnight performing Repo! The Genetic Opera and Indie actress and model Roxy Vandiver performing a fetish art piece.  Be sure to stop by our silent auction and get a chance to pick up some really great items and memorabilia!
