D'Lannie's New Single "Don't Know What You Got" Expected To Be A Summer Chart-Topper

RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. - May 13, 2013 - PRLog -- May 14 marks the release of D'Lannie's highly anticipated new single "Don't Know What You Got” which is expected to be a chart-topping summer hit by music and radio industry professionals.

D'Lannie describes her music as “FUN” and why take everything so seriously? "I find joy in making people smile and brightening up their day. I KNOW what it feels like to be a geek in high school, bullied, and experiencing break ups. I’m real in my music, I use real life events and get inspired to write music."

D'Lannie will be staring in an upcoming reality series in the USA on the TLC network called “Raising Fame.” The show chronicles the life of her and her mother/manager as D’Lannie tries to establish herself in the music business. Her family has already made the sacrifice with her father remaining in Texas, as her and her mother moved to Hollywood in search of her dream.

The series is scheduled to air in June.

D’Lannie has worked with top industry professionals including Aaron Reid, son to LA Reid and Pebbles. Aaron collaborated with D’Lannie on her single "Really Wanna".

Growing up, music was a necessity in D’Lannie’s life, as she was always singing and dancing, finding and taking every opportunity to perform. D’Lannie’s passion for music was ignited when she was just four years old as a result of her mother enrolling her in dance classes. While training as a young dancer, D’Lannie discovered that music was what made her thrive, and as much as she enjoyed dancing, it was singing that was her true calling. Throughout her childhood, D’Lannie competed in multiple competitions and talent shows as her love for singing and performing grew. She kept up with her studies and social life while always finding a way to perform and share her gift. As her passion for performance began to shift into a career path, D’Lannie aspired as a serious artist, proving herself as a motivated, ambitious young talent with the skills to establish a lasting career.

Drawing inspiration from her relationships, social life and personal emotions, D’Lannie’s music truly reflects her unique and vibrant personality.
