The Other Death Penalty Project’s Anthology Wins Gold Medal In The "IPPY" Awards!

May 10, 2013 - PRLog -- The Other Death Penalty Project (TODPP) is a grassroots campaign comprised wholly of men and women sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.  They work to relieve tens of thousands from a slow painful execution in prisons across America.  TODPP's goal is to end the use of this form of state-sanctioned execution (along with all other forms).  All life term prisoners should have at least the possibility of earning another chance.

We are delighted to announce that TODPP’s forthcoming book, “Too Cruel, Not Unusual Enough,” has won the Gold Medal in the Anthology Division of the Independent Publisher (“IPPY”) Awards. “Too Cruel, Not Unusual Enough” is a collection of remarkable writings by prisoners sentenced to life without the possibility of parole (LWOP), created to raise awareness nationwide that LWOP sentences are the death penalty and must be abolished.  The “IPPY” Award will greatly enhance our ability to do just that.
