Follow on Google News | Spring Brings Sweet Dreamzzz to Dossin Elementary StudentsREM sleep is very important for growing children and Sweet Dreamzzz is going to help Dossin Elementary Students get more of it. Sweet Dreamzzz™, Inc., a non-profit, educates children on the importance of sleep and gives them bedtime essentials.
By: Sweet Dreamzzz The 245 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade at Dossin will learn how their bodies grow while they sleep and how important it is for them to get enough rest, on May 14, 2013. They will learn the dos and don’ts of a bedtime routine and they will each receive a Sweet Dreamzzz Sleep Kit. The sleep kits, sponsored by The Village Club Foundation, will be delivered to the school by TWO MEN and A TRUCK – Wixom, a partner with Sweet Dreamzzz. Sweet Dreamzzz also educates the parents through the Parent Sleep Education Workshop, where they learn about the importance of sleep, the required hours of sleep for their child as well as themselves, sleep strategies, and a bedtime routine to follow at home. The parents receive a parent guide with recent sleep research articles, a magnet outlining bedtime routine steps, and a bedtime routine chart with stickers. Sweet Dreamzzz believes that educating the children AND the parents will help everyone in the household understand healthy bedtime routines. Sweet Dreamzzz has been able to serve over 38,000 children.
