Orchestra Toronto presents beautiful Beethoven and breathtaking Sibelius

The first part of Orchestra Toronto’s concert is all beautiful Beethoven — his Coriolan overture and his Symphony No. 4 in B-flat Major. The second half is a return to the orchestra by the charismatic and inspiring violinist Adrian Anantawan, who interprets Sibelius’s breathtaking Violin Concerto in D minor. Born without a right hand, Anantawan plays with keen senses of expression and musicianship that have inspired critics and audiences alike.

The performance, conducted by Music Director Danielle Lisboa, is in the George Weston Recital Hall of the Toronto Centre for the Arts, 5040 Yonge Street, Toronto (just north of Sheppard).

A pre-concert talk by Maestra Lisboa begins at 2:15 p.m.
