Local Residents of Senior Apartments Have Reason to Celebrate

VINELAND, N.J. - May 9, 2013 - PRLog -- The residents of Hopewell Place Senior Apartments, located at 40 Old Stagecoach Road in Bridgeton, NJ, may have another event to add to their engaging list of resident activities – celebrating their recent recognition for two awards.

Highridge Costa Investors, LLC (HCI) presented the 2012 Pillar Award for Best Resident Activities to Dianna Gould, Property Manager at Hopewell, and the award for Best Curb Appeal to Hopewell Place. HCI has developed and financed more than 27,000 apartments in the U.S. This award was uniquely given to Hopewell out of all of the properties that HCI still owns.

This is the first year that HCI has presented the Pillar Awards. To be eligible, management companies and regional managers were asked to submit their best properties, managers and maintenance technicians for applicable awards. Letters of recommendation and support from residents also played a part in the selection process.

“We received hundreds of applications,” says Lori Ruiz, Asset Manager of HCI. “I am extremely proud of Hopewell and of what Dianna does for the residents of our community.”

According to Gould, Hopewell residents were an integral reason for the winning of these awards, especially because they help plan activities. Social events at Hopewell include bingo, Pokeno, pinochle, Wii bowling, billiard league, exercising, CATS buses to appointments and shopping, church groups, water aerobics and pool activities, birthday dinners, dances, casino trips, tea parties, health screenings, and various seasonal and holiday activities.

The residents also have a large part in making the curb appeal of Hopewell award-winning.

“The residents take pride in Hopewell – they help take care of the vegetable and memory gardens, the flower beds, and the walking paths,” says Gould. “This award is an honor for our community and it gives our residents something to feel proud about.”

Gould adds that the entire Hopewell Place community is motivated to continue the momentum and to win again next year.
