2013 Business Achievement Awards - The Finalists Are...

LAFAYETTE, La. - May 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Pacific Edge Magazine will be hosting the 3rd Annual business Achievement Awards Gala on Thursday, May 30.  The gala will highlight Hawaii’s leading companies, business professionals, non-profits, and outstanding K-12 educators.

Pop-A-Lock of Honolulu, owned by Jack and Kathy Walker has been nominated for the Corporate Social Responsibility Award.  The Walker’s are the recent winners of the 2013 BBB Torch Award.  The recognition that Pop-A-Lock of Honolulu is receiving has much to do with the free community services they provide for the people of Honolulu – the Emergency Door Unlock and Key Return Tag programs.

The Corporate Social Responsibility Award will go to the business that demonstrates inclusion of public interest, shows responsibility for the impact of their activities on the environment, consumers, employees, and their community.  The businesses are pro-active in growth and development, and voluntarily eliminate practices that may harm the public.

The gala will be held at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower Marketplace beginning at 5pm.
