TAYLOR, Mich. - May 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital Medical Staff Fund, The Fur Angels Pet Therapy Group, Happy Paws Training Center, and Dr. Scott Thomas Grodman-Podiatrist  are sponsoring the ninth annual “Friends 1K MS Walk” benefiting the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Heritage Park in Taylor, MI.  

“In 2001, I was diagnosed with MS and in 2002 I started this walk,” says Samara Wolf. “This walk is different, because no team's required, it’s open to every individual. This event is hosted by and held at Heritage Park in Taylor, in Pavilion A, just follow the signs posted all around the park.”

“Come enjoy yourself (bring friends, family, and loved ones) to an atmosphere that welcomes EVERYONE and encourages you to mingle, gather information, or just get out for a couple of hours. There will be a raffle of various items,” Mrs. Wolf adds.

The mission of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation is to provide programs and support services to those persons affected by MS that help them maintain their health, safety, self-sufficiency, and personal well-being; and to heighten public awareness of multiple sclerosis in order to elicit financial support for the MSF’s programs and services and promote understanding for those diagnosed with the illness.  For more information, visit www.msfocus.org.
