Winchester Meadows Retirement approved for more Assisted Living Apartments

Winchester Meadows Retirement Community has received approval from the State for a new Assisted Living addition that will begin construction this year.  The addition of 28 apartments will offer a higher level of care than previously offered and allow residents to stay in the Winchester Meadows community if their needs change.  The Addition will accommodate up to 32 more residents in the Winchester Meadows community.    Winchester Meadows currently has a waiting list of seniors who will be thrilled to hear that there will be more residence options. The new project will create 18 new jobs when it opens next year.

“We are very excited to be able to offer an extended level of care to seniors in Sedalia.” stated Rhonda Gaylord, Administrator.  “There are many people that want to join our community, but we have not had apartments for them.  Not only will residents of the community be able to transition to higher care when they need to, but those who have been waiting for an apartment will soon be able to move in and enjoy our community.”
