Panel discussions “Thriving as a Independent, ” featured topics on social media, digital and street marketing, Branding and Imaging, and the importance of selecting the proper music to market. The audience received valuable insight from moderator David A. Mitchell of Amalgamation Magazine, Jason Schweitzer; Grammy Award Winning Mix Engineer, Paul Finamore; Lifestyle and Entertainment Marketing of Neff Headwear (Snoop Lion, Virgin Records), Sanni Youboty; Digital Content/Social Media for RedOne/ /2101 Record, and Stix; Executive Producer, A&R Representative (Iggy Azalea), and Songwriter. The second panel discussion, “Behind the HITS: DECONSTRUCTION,” Day Two allowed participants with the opportunity to play their music for the A&R panel and to also perform live. This secret location was AMP Rehearsal Studios in North Hollywood, CA. Several Artists showcased their abilities and now have follow up meetings with the labels in the coming weeks.
