American Inventor, living in Australia, has new innovative family product featured on QVC Sprouts

MANASSAS, Va. - Sept. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Shelly Zimmerman's new innovative family product is being featured on QVC Sprouts starting September 14.  QVC customers voted and now her product, the MyColourCup®, is being showcased and sold on QVC web site.

Originally from Virginia and now a resident of Alice Springs, Australia, Shelly Zimmerman is the creator of the MyColourCup®, a fun and eco-friendly household product benefiting the whole family.  She designed this customizable cup so that family members could quickly identify which cup was theirs. This innovative design lets the name and color on display be changed in an instant.

As the mother of four, she was tired of all the abandoned cups scattered throughout her house.  This innovative cup lets you change the name that's on display—so there's no need to find that one cup with your name on it!  Shelly says, "I created the cup for my family, knowing that other families would benefit. I wanted a cup that could be picked out from all others—like finding a green car in a crowded mall parking lot."

The MyColourCup® was selected to compete against two other products in the QVC Sprouts program.  The cups won the runners-up spot and have now been given the opportunity to sell on QVC. The QVC Sprouts program is designed for inventors with innovative products to assist them and help them grow their product with less risk.  "We have worked hard to get to where we are and now our cups are on QVC! I can't believe it, thanks QVC,” says Shelly.
