The Wawi Group, contracts Utah based Power & Industry for one million Advent Calendar creation

SALT LAKE CITY - May 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Wawi owner Walter Muller, who many call the real life Willy Wonka, has led the helm of one of the most influential and successful chocolate factories in the world for the past 30 years. A native of Germany, he now controls his chocolate empire of 9 factories on four continents from his headquarters in Switzerland and will mark the companies 55th anniversary with a creations inspired Advent Calendar and short documentary produced by Utah based productions company Power & Industry.

In a chance meeting last January Mr. Muller, who frequents the Polo Lounge at the prestigious Beverly Hills Hotel on a layover to visit his factory in Sydney Australia, contemplated how to best commemorate his company's anniversary. While scratching thoughts down on paper he overheard a conversation about a reality TV show filmed, in all places, Utah. Mr. Muller continued to listen as the person next to him referred to the experience of producing a documentary highlighting the adventures of two real estate moguls in Salt Lake City and selling it to network television.

Intrigued, Mr. Muller struck up a conversation with the high energy producer who related the same experience he had just mentioned prior to his guests at the Polo. Mr. Muller presented his desire to create something unique for his company's anniversary and the Visionary from Power & Industry illuminated the scratch paper Mr. Muller had been jotting, with the most epic of ideas to showcase Wawi's origins, partnerships, and worldwide influence centered on the most popular candy in history, chocolate. Two months later an order for one million Advent Calendars with the history of Wawi Chocolate’s Documentary agreement was signed.

Heading up the photography component is veteran motion photographer Lyman Winn of Salt Lake City Utah who’s creative genius was most recently recognized by Sports Illustrated. Directing the Wawi Documentary is Denver Robbins owner of Dark Sun Studios and co-producer of the highly successful Independent Filmmakers Lounge during the Sundance Film Festival.

Production takes place on location in Malibu California beginning May 14th and the commemorative Advent Calendars hit stores worldwide November 5th just in time for the holiday season.
