LOS ANGELES - May 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA ~ In the world of Parody and title breakdowns, who can really do it better than "Weird Al" Yankovich himself? Well, to answer to your question, there has never been a female to take the crown and after hearing parodies on hit songs like "Irreplaceable" by Beyonce and "Take me to the King" by Tamela Mann & Kirk Franklin, we might have just found our rising Queen. Darlene McCoy is no stranger to music, a two-time Dove Award Nominee, National Recording Artist and Songwriter, McCoy has had music scored for films like Tyler Perry's "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" and "Somebody's Child" on GMC.

Delightful and hilarious Comedy, but real singing is a rare combination of what McCoy brings as she presents her alter ego named Peace Ann Love which is pronounced as "Pee -at - chay Ann Low-vey". Did you get that? Well it’s not your typical character anyone calls their alter ego so you have to hear it to believe it. It may sound like a name from the projects but this country, loud-talking, smart mouth lady sure can sang a wonder land full of comedy which really makes you laugh.

With "Take Me to Burger King" as the first single and the video already at 100,000 hits, this alter ego brings a humorous yet classy parody of a desperate need to get food late at night. "Take me to burger king, I don't have much to bring. I'll tear a burger to pieces and some onion rings. Lay me at the door and leave me alone to gaze upon their combo, a three or number one" is the repeated hook that draws you in with outstanding vocals of Darlene McCoy.

This parody Queen already has well-known comedians calling. She recently appeared on the George Wallace Comedy Show at the Flamingo in Las Vegas, shared the stage with Comedian Akintunde and National Personality & Comedian Rickey Smiley has phones lighting up in his studio as he plays the song repeatedly on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show.

The compilation of parody hits also includes songs like "Keep ya Head Up" made popular by Tupac, "The Best is Yet to Come" made popular by Donald Lawrence (Parody Title: "My Check has Yet to Come"), "Open My Heart" made popular by Yolanda Adams (Parody Title: "Open up Walmart"), "Faithful is Our God" made popular by Hezekiah Walker (Parody Title: "Hateful"), "Still Able" made popular by James Fortune (Parody Title: "Steal Cable"), "I Won't Complain" made popular by Rev. Paul Jones (Parody Title: "I'm Gone Complain") and many more.

With all said and done, McCoy uses her unique ability to transcend a serious piece of work into a masterpiece of comedy and music.

The compilation project Darlene McCoy Presents Random Foolishness (A Hilarious Parody Album) releases August 2013 everywhere music is sold and online.
