PRLog - May 6, 2013 - NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Following Little Rock native Elise Davis' American Songwriter’s “The Pub Contest” win, the singer-songwriter will celebrate the release of her new EP of original tunes on May 9 at Nashville's 12th & Porter. The win got her a hefty publishing deal with HoriPro Entertainment, which was judged by songwriters like Holly Williams and Hunter Hayes earlier last month. Often drawing comparisons to the likes of Emmylou Harris and Lucinda Williams, Davis' music has captured the attention of more than just those invested in the contest. Audiences are shocked to learn the singer is only 24 years young when they hear her rich, mature tone and autobiographical lyrics. Not surprising though, once you learn it was at age 12 that the singer penned her first song after an argument with her parents over a rock concert she wanted to attend.
Big Ol’ Dreams - the singer's new EP - will be available for purchase online (iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Zune, Rhapsody, Bandcamp, etc.) on May 7. The EP will also be available to stream on Spotify the same day. Media can stream the EP exclusively now by clicking here (http://elisedavis.com/#!
