Grace Industries Announces Release of SMS Safety Monitoring System- Confined Space Worker Monitoring

Fredonia, PA, February 21, 2013 - Grace Industries Inc. is pleased to introduce a new product configuration for confined space worker monitoring. The SMS Safety Monitoring System is used with Grace’s Portable Worksite Alarm, SuperCELL® or TPASS® worker worn alarms to provide real-time safety monitoring of confined space workers. Providing advanced levels of monitoring and reporting, the SMS is a fit for any workplace where there is concern for the health and welfare of workers; in particular, those in confined spaces or working alone.

Personnel working in confined space environments is a subject of growing interest for safety advocates as OSHA devotes chapters within it’s regulations for regarding confined space operations. As companies move to improve their efficiency; a challenge remains in confined space monitoring. Companies want to meet or exceed safety regulations while remaining lean and efficient.
