PRLog -- Nojoe's Circus is currently seeking volunteers for it's new Sunshine Ambassadors Program. The Sunshine Ambassadors will provide visitation and activity programs for hospital patients, nursing community and assisted living communities, as well as homebound persons. The program will also work with other programs that cater to citizens with special needs. The volunteers will complete specialized and on going training to prepare for the sometimes special circumstances and needs of some of the participants. "We are looking for volunteers who have an outgoing and care giving personality as well as those who are determined to make a positive difference in their community", said Joey Thurmond owner of Nojoe's Circus. Volunteers will not have to commit to certain number of hours each week or month. Volunteers must submit to a criminal background check if selected. The Sunshine Ambassador's Program is funded by the Circus, Souvenir sales during performances, and private and corporate donors. The program is not only seeking hands on participants but, also coordinators to help with the logistics of the Program. Auditions and Interviews will be held May 22 in Dallas GA.
