Follow on Google News | Independent Advisory Panel Walks OutBoard of Directors flatly refuse recommendations offered by advisors. Advisors warn of hard times ahead if policy does not change.
By: Tony Grady The panel recommended in August of 2012 that L.R.Caldwell International, Inc refrain from focusing the bulk of their manufacturing in the USA and divert more manufacturing back overseas to increase profitablity. Included in their past recommendations, was the amount of free services the company provides, absorbing the cost of research on many products. "L.R.Caldwell International, Inc cannot sustain the statue quo. While customer service is important, a level of profitability must be better addressed. Focusing on inventors, uses alot of resources which would better spent on established businesses, with better financial abilities." advised the panel. CEO, Chrysta Wilson flatly stated - "You are to advise us in areas of better markets and services, NOT on how we can increase profits." She went on to point out- "A customer has an idea which we feel would be a great use to the public, he/she does not have the resources to manufacture it. Should we simple reject it based on funding alone? These are the matters in which you should be advising. Finding a way to both profit and develop new ideas from those with limited funding" http://www.lrcis.com End
