1Tribe Media Launch Graphic Novel To Teach Children Discernment

May 4, 2013 - PRLog -- 1Tribe Media, a Scotland based production company this week launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a graphic novel that they say will teach children discernment in the supernatural realm.

Daniel Dunkley Co-Founder of the company says “Growing up I had various supernatural encounters some were great but some were terrifying. The supernatural realm is real, it isn't just harmless fantasy as we are sometimes led to believe, but there are two realms and one helps us and one harms us”. He continues “Due to this lack of understanding, many authors, TV companies and film makers are releasing media content which unfortunately is deeply rooted in the occult therefore unknowingly bringing harm into the lives of the children they are seeking to serve.

Our vision is to bring much needed insight into this area to help parents steer their children away from harmful supernatural influences and embrace that which will bring positive results in their lives.” Dunkley says “I searched a long time for answers to help me understand my experiences and I finally found them in the Bible, it explains about the two realms and the positive or harmful effects that can come from either source.”

Linda Dunkley also a Co-Founder in the business, former Stunt Woman and Registered Childminder states “I think as a nation we are not strangers to the supernatural, our whole heritage is stuffed with people that we've honoured because of the supernatural in their lives. Take for example the Apostle Paul he healed the sick and raised the dead, part of the reason he is honoured as the Patron of London. St Patrick was famous for walking in supernatural power that changed people’s lives so much that we still honour him today. As a nation we have experienced many revivals and moves of God’s supernatural power, both the Welsh and Hebridean Revivals, and the Wesleyan Revival the initiator of which “John Wesley” is still remembered outside the Museum of London today. Sadly we have also forgotten the boundaries that these honoured fathers taught us regarding the supernatural and have crossed over the line and embraced powers that are bringing devastation to our nation and our lives.
