Carol's Daughter - Roots Rasta - Video Release

NEW YORK - May 3, 2013 - PRLog -- (New York, NY) May 1, 2013 – Nakeeba Amaniyea, daughter of legendary and Grammy Nominated reggae artist Sister Carol, steps out of the Deejay booth and front stage with the title track video release of her new album ROOTS RASTA on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Sullivan Hall @ 8pm.  

Nakeeba has been collaborating with her mother and numerous artists while entertaining audiences throughout the United States and internationally in France, Spain, and Thailand.  Nakeeba's sound infuses roots reggae, R & B, and hip-hop into an eclectic blend that taps into the musical palate of all listeners.

The Premiere which benefits The JRDC School in Shashamane School in Ethiopia, will be held at NYC’s famed Sullivan Hall – 214 Sullivan Street, NY, NY and will be hosted by Bobo Rems with performances by reggae artists Iyata Safari, Di Ras, Hip Hop artist, Mic Blacque and spoken word artist Karena Bailey.
