Prudential Taps Blanca Commercial Real Estate to Lease Miami's Sabadell Financial Center

The 523,000 SF Class A office tower located in the heart of the Brickell Financial District becomes the newest addition to the firm’s 3.4 million RSF leasing portfolio.
 
MIAMI - May 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Prudential Real Estate Investors (PREI) has selected Blanca Commercial Real Estate as the exclusive leasing agent for Sabadell Financial Center, a Class A office building in Miami’s Brickell Financial District. Located at 1111 Brickell Avenue, the 523,000 square foot, 30-story tower is situated at the epicenter of Miami’s urban core, amidst luxury hotels, high-rise residential towers, and shopping and dining destinations. The Blanca Commercial Real Estate leasing assignment brings the firm’s portfolio of exclusive leasing assignments to 3.4 million square feet of office space, accompanying the news that PREI has acquired the asset from Spain-based Testa Inmuebles en Renta, S.A. for $185 million.

One of Miami’s most stable trophy office towers, Sabadell Financial Center is currently 87 percent occupied, with a tenant roster that includes Sabadell United Bank, Barclays Bank, Telefonica USA, Hunton & Williams law firm, Baker & McKenzie law firm, and Regus.

Spearheading leasing and marketing efforts for Sabadell Financial Center on behalf of Blanca Commercial Real Estate will be President and CEO Tere Blanca, Executive Vice President Danet Linares, and Executive Vice President Juan Ruiz.

Sabadell Financial Center is located between Brickell Avenue and Brickell Bay Drive, offering tenants and visitors access to numerous public transportation links and a host of retail shops and restaurants at nearby Mary Brickell Village and throughout the Brickell Financial District. The tower features include street-level retail with a deli-style restaurant and dry cleaner, a 1,100-space parking garage, and a direct covered connection to the JW Marriott Miami hotel. PREI plans to contribute additional capital to the property in the coming year, with the goal of improving the asset’s lobby area, outdoor terrace, and retail offerings.
