RibbonFish IT, SharePoint & CRM Begin New Contract With Cambridgeshire County Council

Cambridgeshire County Council utilised Onyx CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system version 5 – a technology that the RibbonFish team have significant experience in developing and supporting.

After feeling like they could provide a positive service, RibbonFish approached Cambridgeshire County Council with a portfolio of work and client testimonials, and enquired about when the re-tender process was due.

As with all local authority and government organisations, the tendering process began with a registration on a procurement website. Here, RibbonFish entered all the relevant company information including relevant experience and their areas of expertise.

The RibbonFish team's history in implementing, managing and supporting Onyx-based systems was crucial in determining the outcome of the hotly contested application to this local authority.

In a period when most authorities are having to demonstrate their efficiencies and cost saving initiatives, RibbonFish offered their services at a price that delivers reasonable value for Cambridgeshire County Council.

RibbonFish also set up a section on their Microsoft SharePoint site dedicated to the  relationship with Cambridgeshire County Council. They intend to use it as a central repository for information, and decided that this would be a great method to help manage support issues.
