eMudhra Consumer Services launches TRUSTFACTOR

BANGALORE, India - May 3, 2013 - PRLog -- eMudhra Consumer Services, a market leading provider of e-enabled financial services for consumers and a licensed Certifying Authority under the information Technology Act of India, recently announced the launch of ‘Online Banking Security Protocol’ – TRUSTFACTOR a comprehensive solution assuring security to any online financial transactions. The launch of TRUSTFACTOR is in alignment with the RBI’s mandate for banks to implement digital signature certificate based authentication for electronic banking.

The solution is supported by robust technology, domain-experienced implementation and secured processes including verification and issuance of digital signature certificates (DSC). DSC is legally valid under Information Technology Act and recommended by the Reserve Bank of India specifically for high value transactions. TRUSTFACTOR offers a comprehensive solution including authentication server solution, digital signature certificates, customized crypto-tokens and a secured process for issuance, download and usage.

A unique component of the solution is to provide reach to the bank’s customers through network of eMudhra’s Digital Security Centers present across the country. These centers can also be replicated as a Kiosk either at the Bank branches or at locations preferred by the Bank. These centers are operated under a secured environment and strict adherence to Information Technology Act. Initially, eMudhra centers will be in Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune and Kolkata.
