Ogden Piano Gallery Hosting Public Sale of Under Warranty Pianos to Provide Annual Donation to WSU

SALT LAKE CITY - May 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Weber State University, one of the elite Piano institutions in the U.S., has received 14 donated digital pianos for its technology lab from Ogden Piano Gallery for the past 15 years. At the end of each year, the Ogden Piano Gallery hosts a public sale of the donated pianos, and additional inventory, at a fraction of their retail price to supply University students with new pianos for the coming year.

Weber State University has received national recognition for its piano excellence lead by Dr. Yu-Jane Yang, a recognized leading educator in the field of Piano Pedagogy in the U.S., and training influence for Fan Ya-Lin, a current student and musical sensation who has received several national awards for her piano performance. With Ogden Piano Gallery’s donation of new pianos each year, students are provided with high-end instruments to assist them with reaching their musical dreams like Ya-Lin.

“We look forward to this event each year that allows us to give resources to the music students at Weber State University,” said Clay Ellison, co-owner of Ogden Piano Gallery. “It is also an opportunity for us to provide the benefits of music at a reduced cost to the local community.”

The sale will be held May 10th and 11th at Weber State University’s Shepherd Union Building from [time]. The sale will include upright, grand, and digital Yamaha Clavinova pianos that are still under full warranty and are priced below retailer cost. New pianos will also be available for sale.
