Social Media, Local Parties Celebrate National Mom's Nite Out™ on May 9th

Millions of Moms Expected to Take A Break During 5th Annual National Mom’s Nite Out™ at Online and Offline Parties!

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - May 2, 2013 - PRLog -- She does 500 loads of laundry each year, prepares hundreds of lunchboxes and juggles homework, her work and sports schedule all on one calendar.  But on Thursday, May 9th, mom will join millions of others for a night off.  Instead of checking tasks off her “to-do” list, moms will be celebrating National Mom’s Nite Out™ (http://momsniteout.com) in restaurants, homes and at online events.

In its fifth year and organized by Maria Bailey, founder of MomTV (http://momtv.com) and host of Mom Talk Radio, National Mom’s Nite Out attracts millions of moms and unites hundreds of social media groups, companies, local playgroups, mom bloggers and influencers through a variety of networks to offer a well-deserved night of relaxation and pampering.

“This is one night when Moms can choose where and how they want to celebrate, and put themselves first,” said Bailey, referring to the variety of events and locations to choose from on May 9th. “National Mom's Nite Out™ is one of the largest cooperative efforts of Mom-focused organizations, corporations and social media influencers - all coming together for one great night in support of motherhood,” Bailey said.

More than 100 Simon Mall locations across the US are hosting events that will let Moms enjoy food, shopping and entertainment. Special events are also being hosted by Restaurant.com in Chicago, Indianapolis and Milwaukee.

If a destination is not in the plans, Moms can join in the fun online during a live-streaming party on MomTV.com and at a Twitter party by following @momtalkradio (http://twitter.com/momtalkradio) using the hashtag #MomsNiteOut.

“We created National Mom’s Nite Out because so many of today’s mothers spend Mother’s Day focused on catering to the grandparents of their children or their own mothers,” explains Bailey, a mother of four children. “We decided that moms deserve one night off from cooking, cleaning and responsibility and time to celebrate motherhood with each other.”

Moms can learn about events in their area, national events and online celebrations by visiting the National Mom’s Nite Out website at http://www.momsniteout.com and on Facebook.

National Mom's Nite Out founder Maria Bailey is available for interviews.
