Caterpillar to exhibit advanced wear coatings in Shermco booth at WINDPOWER 2013 Conference and Expo

CHICAGO - May 2, 2013 - PRLog -- CHICAGO  – Shermco announced today that Caterpillar will be exhibiting and answering questions regarding its Advanced Wear Coatings in the Shermco booth, #2761, at the WINDPOWER 2013 Conference and Exposition. The event will be held will be May 5-8 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago.

Part of the Cat® Electrical Repair Center network, a global program, Shermco is authorized to perform rewind repair and maintenance on critical electrical components of Cat generators used in the power generation, construction, and oil and gas industries and has been contracted by Caterpillar to sell Advanced Wear Coatings services in the industrial marketplace. Applicable to the steel, mining, agriculture, power generation, plastics, and other industries in which wear and part corrosion is an issue, the services reduce the cost of parts and extend their life cycle.
