Corsair Engineering Inc. Attending SOFIC 2013

ORLANDO, Fla. - May 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Corsair Engineering Inc. will be showcasing its latest technology and innovations at the upcoming NDIA Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC), May 14 – 16, 2012 in Tampa, Florida. Stop by Corsair at booth 1425 to see what they are working on in the areas of Special Operations, Courseware, Simulation, Training, Logistics, and Technology.
A central focus of this year’s conference, taking place at the Tampa Convention Center, is “Strengthening the SOF Bond,” providing a forum for military, government, academia, and industry stakeholders to network and discuss current and future challenges and how to best support our Special Operations Forces (SOF) in four key areas: Preservation of the Force and Families, Human Domain, Support of the Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and Innovation.

Corsair Engineering Inc. will be highlighting its work with Marine Special Operations, Army Special Operations, and Navy Special Warfare; the booth will include their interactive multi-media instruction and desktop simulation and Corsair will provide an opportunity for booth visitors to get a hands-on demonstration of the power and efficiency of innovative instructional tools. After taking a short interactive computer based lesson on a tablet computer, visitors will be challenged to display their new found knowledge on Corsair’s Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) simulator. Utilizing Virtual Instruction and automated Performance Assessment the “student” will be graded on their ability to utilize the UAS sensor to find and track targets.
