Second Annual GA Music Awards Announces Event Host

ATLANTA - May 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Following the success of the first year of the GA Music Awards, the second annual GA Music Awards planning is well under way. With voting for the nominees well under way, and a stunning turnout for the newly minted Latin Awards, GA Music Awards organizers are thrilled to announce the event host for 2013, Christopher Martin.

“After the success of the first year of the GA Music Awards,” states Omar McCallop, “it was imperative we find a host equal to what Sari and Conn brought to the table for the first year. We hope our distinguished honorees, the nominees, and those who attend the show appreciate the blend of fashion commentary and humor Christopher brings to the table.”

Christopher, a native Texan boasting the nickname Fashion Plate, made Atlanta his home in 2009. He is currently hosting ‘ATL Profile’ and his radio/tv odyssey ‘4 HOURS with THE FASHION PLATE’ on Sfmtv.com. With appearances on two episodes of Tyler Perry's House of Payne, an appearance on the first episode of BET's Second Generation Wayans Project opposite Damien Wayans and as Ike in the Al Robbins Film “The Next Day”, Christopher is certainly making his mark with personality and panache.

Tickets for the GA Music Awards, scheduled for June 8, are available for purchase at the Buckhead Theatre, and on TicketMaster. Fans can also purchase tickets to the Nominee Shows on May 10, 2013 and May 31, 2013, held at Masquerade in Atlanta.
