FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - May 1, 2013 - PRLog -- ADVISORS’ ACADEMY ANNOUNCES EXPANDED TRAINING ROLE FOR NEW RECRUITING DIRECTOR

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, April 22, 2013
– Advisors’ Academy, a top marketing organization in the finance industry, is pleased to announce the expansion of its coaching department with the appointment of Steve Archer to the role of Director of Recruiting and Training.  Archer joined the company recently as head of recruiting, but will now take a more active role in the ongoing professional development of new and existing Academy agents. The move is integral to company’s strategic plan for improving and expanding agent services and support – a plan that includes growing the coaching staff significantly in the coming months.

“Based on his background, we intended for Steve to have a key training role from the very beginning; the good news is that we were able to make it happen sooner than later,” said Advisors’ Academy founder David J. Scranton. “His resume as mentor with a proven record of developing agents and helping them reach incredible new levels of success speaks for itself.”

In this role, Archer will spearhead the ongoing implementation of new and expanded training services for existing Academy members, as well as the growth of the department.  Advisors’ Academy is already widely recognized for offering among the most comprehensive and personalized professional development support within the industry, along with a dynamic range of innovative branding and marketing services.

Archer acquired his broad-based expertise largely over 17 years at New York Life, one of largest mutual life insurance companies in the U.S.  He has recruited and developed hundreds of successful advisors in his 20-plus years in agency systems, including six who now hold the position of Agency Head or higher at two different companies.  Over a five-year span he took one agency from $3.8 million to $9 million in target life premiums.

Archer said the rapid expansion of his role is a testament to the company’s growth and its commitment to setting the industry standard for agent mentoring and personalized professional development.

“I’ve actually been working in a training capacity right along, so I’m very excited about officially expanding my role in this area,” he said. “There is tremendous satisfaction in knowing you’ve helped someone reach their full potential and surpass even their most ambitious professional goals.  This is a great fit for me, because that’s exactly what we specialize in at Advisors’ Academy.”
