JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - May 1, 2013 - PRLog -- (Camp Lejeune) – Fresh off celebrations for Administrative Professionals Week, April 21-27 and looking forward to National Small Business Week, June 17-21, military spouse entrepreneur, Melissa St. Clair, Owner of Paper Chaser will be an exhibitor to represent portable careers at a special event Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 9:30am to 2:30pm at Marston Pavilion, 730 Seth Williams Blvd, Camp Lejeune, NC, 28547.

The event: “A New Mission: How Military Women Become Entrepreneurs” presented by the Small Business Center, Coastal Carolina Community College, Jacksonville-Onslow Chamber of Commerce, Women's Business Center of NC, the N.C. Rural Center and the N.C. Military Business Center is for the female veterans who have served with honor and for active duty female military personnel who continue to serve with distinction. It is also for the military women who stand on the frontlines domestically, holding down the fort and holding the family together while their partners are deployed.

“I want to share first-hand the benefits of having a portable career and working from a virtual office as viable options for today’s working women. As a female entrepreneur and Marine Corps spouse, I value the flexibility given the unique challenges of frequent moves and the distinct demands on time for military spouses. The event will afford attendees the opportunity to interact with other like-minded professionals in and around our military community,” said Melissa St. Clair.

PAPER CHASER is a virtual-based company owned by military spouse, Melissa Whiteford St. Clair. Since 2006, PAPER CHASER has been helping busy solopreneurs get out from behind the desk and back into their business to focus on sales, service and networking by handling a variety of administrative tasks such as: client communications, internet research, project assistance and more.
