Rajasthan: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), the market leader in the Indian tractor industry for the last 30 years, launched the new Mahindra 255 DI Power Plus in Rajasthan. The Mahindra 255DI Power Plus is a 25HP powerful, reliable, fuel efficient and versatile new age tractor with a Double Cylinder Water Cooled Engine. The Tractor has a Higher Draw Bar Pull hence offering best in class pulling capacity with optimum fuel consumption. This leads to superlative performance in both agri and haulage use.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sanjeev Goyle, Senior Vice President, Marketing & AppliTrac, Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said “At Mahindra & Mahindra, we have always pioneered products to increase farm productivity and enhance rural prosperity. The Mahindra 255 DI Power Plus has a fuel efficient MKM engine with Higher Hydraulics lifting capacity of 1200 kg. It is compatible with all commonly used agricultural implements, like rotavator, cultivator, harrow and leveller.”

With its better pulling capacity and gradability the Mahindra 255DI Power Plus caters to the needs of farmers for cultivation, harvesting and water pumping, and to fleet owners for commercial haulage. The tractor is useful for commercial work to remove sand from river beds and stone from quarries where pulling the trailer up the gradient is required. Many farmers with higher land holding and higher HP tractors use the tractor for secondary work.

Other product features include an 11 inch heavy duty clutch for heavy work and an adjustable rear wheel track with 7 different wheel track adjustments, useful for cultivation of multiple crops.
