BOX 30573 Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33420 Twitter: @radeventnews The Palm Beach County Veterans Committee Presents 6th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony On Monday May 27, 2013 the Palm Beach County Veterans Committee will host the 6th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony starting at 10:00 A.M. Memorial Day is a day for remembering and honoring military personnel who died in the service of their country. This ceremony is sponsored by the Palm Beach County Veterans Committee, along with other veteran organizations. The Ceremony will last for one hour and it will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery, which is located at 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida. This year’s guest speaker will be the Honorable Judge Ted Booras Florida's Fifteenth Judicial District, he was a Marine Corps Veteran 1979-1981. Also included in the program will be patriotic singers, an Agent Orange ceremony with a balloon release, color guards, bagpipers, and a local high school band will be in attendance. Shuttle transportation will be available from 8:15 A.M. at two off site locations: 1) The Target Superstore: 5900 State Road 7, Lake Worth, 33449 and 2) Winfield Solutions: 8245 U.S. Hwy 441, Boynton Beach, 33472. There will be NO public parking inside the cemetery grounds. Everyone is welcome to attend this ceremony. Please remember chairs and shade are not provided since this is an outdoor event.
