DALLAS - April 30, 2013 - PRLog -- The Beck Group is pleased to announce that Jim Cornell, P.E., LEED®AP has been named a Fellow by the American Concrete Institute (ACI). Cornell was one of 36 individuals honored as Fellow during the ACI spring convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Cornell joined Beck in 2000 and has over 36 years of construction experience. His experience encompasses multiple types of construction including medical clinics, hospitals, higher education, pharmaceutical manufacturing, parking garages, manufacturing buildings, office buildings, hotels and tenant work. In 1991, Cornell was named Superintendent of the Year by the American Subcontractors Association, Houston chapter. He received AGC Fort Worth committee chairman of the year in 1995. The American Concrete Institute (ACI) is a nonprofit technical and educational society organized in 1904 and is one of the world's leading authorities on concrete technology.
