NYACK, N.Y. - April 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Sacramento, CA -- Jampro Antennas (http://www.jampro.com/) of Sacramento, California has been awarded a major broadcast equipment contract by MediaCorp, Singapore. Jampro will provide a complete system comprised of a Jampro model JUHD broadband UHF panel antenna and an extremely complex switching and patching matrix to integrate MediaCorp’s three main towers that serve Singapore and the Malay Peninsula.

In making the announcement, Alex M. Perchevitch, Jampro’s president said, “We are very pleased and proud to be working with Singapore’s leading media organization on their critical infrastructure. Fortunately, our extensive product line covers all of the necessary components. Moreover, we can ensure high performance because we are handling the entire installation in Bukit Batok, the primary Broadcast Site for Singapore and one of the most critical sites for Singapore, Malay Peninsula, and Indonesian Archipelago.”

Jampro will provide a broadband UHF panel antenna with dual runs of High power transmission line. A dual chain digital UHF combiner, comprising 12 Constant Impedance modules and cross-site patching matrix system, which allows transmission on different antennas/towers. Included in the order is a massive 48-panel JUHD UHF panel antenna, which can handle multiple channels  DVB-T/H or analog, PAL signals on UHF bands IV and V.  

“We build our JUHD antennas with stainless steel and aluminum,” added Perchevitch.  “That gives MediaCorp long term value and durable performance in their tropical rainforest climate.”

To combine signals MediaCorp specified Jampro model DVB-T/T2 UHF constant impedance mask filter / combining modules. They provide outstanding low-power performance in a compact design, particularly suited to MediaCorp’s equipment space limitations.

The DVB-T/T2 series combiner module and filter pro­vides excellent results in the bandpass and channel combining application. Each unit is electrically and mechanically pre-tested by Jampro to ensure superior level field performance. Jampro is also supplying dual runs of high power transmission line and accessories
