VATC, Inc. Appoints New Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer

TAMPA, Fla. - April 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Tampa, Florida – Visual Awareness Technologies and Consulting, Inc.  (VATC, Inc.) announced key selections in the Executive Leadership Team with the promotions of Mike Vaughn to CEO and Jim Kotlyn to COO.

With deep experience in irregular warfare and proven business acumen in the industry, Mr. Vaughn and Mr. Kotlyn will complement VATC’s existing executive team that focuses on expanding its global reach of highly specialized training solutions while currently supporting  the largest Special Operations Forces Exercise in North America.

Mike Vaughn is promoted from Chief Operating Officer to Chief Executive Officer at VATC. He previously held a variety of operational leadership positions in the defense industry and as a Military Officer for Air Force Special Operations Command and Joint Special Operations Command. "VATC has rapidly grown to a global reach corporation supporting thousands in consulting and full spectrum training operations for US Government, International Partners of the United States, and International Development efforts for Security and Stability.” said Mr. Vaughn. “I am proud of the difference we are making in National Readiness. Jim Kotlyn is promoted from Senior Vice President for Operations to Chief Operating Officer at VATC.  Jim started with VATC five years ago as an Operations Planner Supporting United States Special Operations Command’s Exercise and Training Division, and quickly rose through the ranks to SVP for Operations.  Prior to joining the VATC Team, Jim held a variety of operational leadership and command positions for United States Special Operations Command and Naval Special Warfare Command as a Commissioned United States Navy SEAL Officer.
