Dunlop will present “Engaging Female Healthcare Consumers with Blogs and New Media,” on Thursday, May 2 at 1:45 p.m. He will share the podium with co-presenter Public Affairs and Communications Manager at Tufts Medical Center, Timothy Brennan. Brennan and Dunlop will discuss ways to engage female healthcare consumers through the use of new media tools, such as blogs, online video and social networks.
“Healthcare communications is a quickly evolving field,” said Dunlop. “The Health Academy Conference is a great opportunity for healthcare communicators from across the nation to share their knowledge and expertise with one another, and develop strategies for future challenges in healthcare marketing.”
The Health Academy Conference focuses on public reporting, preventive care and changing legislative guidelines. It will provide healthcare communicators with refined strategies, tactics and new media applications that have proven success in the industry. Conference attendees will both learn how colleagues are responding to compliance issues and challenges in day-to-day activities, and make industry connections that will continue beyond the three-day event.
