Hyundai Debuts Upgraded Assurance Connected Care System

New system gives drivers longer standard coverage and more safety features than before.

PENSACOLA, Fla. - April 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Hyundai recently unveiled Assurance Connected Care at the 2013 New York International Auto Show, a reworking of the classic Assurance on-board system. Not only does the new system connect drivers to essential safety function like never before, but Hyundai is also giving drivers extended coverage. Starting on May 16th, all new Hyundai vehicles equipped with Blue Link purchased at Allen Turner Hyundai (http://www.allenturnerauto.com/HomePage) will come with three years of Car Care support at no additional charge to the driver. The breadth of features and the extended coverage makes Assurance the most comprehensive system of its kind.

“Hyundai introduced Assurance at a time when economic uncertainty was high and brands were cutting back,” said John Krafcik, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor America. “We chose to show our commitment to our customers even in the toughest of times as a way of saying ‘we’ve got your back.’ This commitment remains just as strong today as we take things to the next level with Assurance Connected Care.”

Hyundai's Assurance program currently includes 24/7 roadside assistance, including towing, battery jump-starts, and flat tire changes. Also included is a comprehensive powertrain warranty and free multi-point inspections.

Assurance Connected Care System takes the program much further by increasing the scope of coverage. In case of a collision, Assurance will automatically contact authorities and alert them of the situation. Emergencies happen without accidents ever occurring, though, which is why the system also includes an SOS Emergency Assistance feature.

Besides safety, the system also keeps drivers in tune with the well being of their vehicles.

Car Care features include:

   •     Maintenance alerts

   •     Automatic diagnostic trouble code notification

   •     Recall advisor

   •     Service scheduling right from your vehicle

These new additional capabilities add to Hyundai's list of Blue Link features (https://www.hyundaiusa.com/technology/bluelink/). Using Bluetooth connectivity, drivers have access to a wide range of media options, including handsfree calling, music streaming, and more.
Drivers interested in learning more about the Assurance Connected Care system or any of Hyundai's current vehicles are encouraged to contact the sales team (http://www.allenturnerauto.com/ContactUsForm) at Allen Turner Hyundai. As one of the top dealerships in the Pensacola area, Allen Turner is pleased to continue to provide high quality customer care and service.
