MIDDLETOWN, N.J. - April 29, 2013 - PRLog -- When a person is as dedicated and passionate about their profession as Susan Hordych, owner of Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe in Middletown, NJ, it’s natural for them to take advantage of every opportunity to continue to improve and enhance the products and services they provide for their customers.  As a member of the Gift Basket Association, Susan is doing just that, with plans to attend the National Gift Basket Association Convention being held in early August in Kissimmee, Florida.  “When I heard that my association was planning a certification program in gift basket design, I jumped at the chance to continue my gift basket design education and take my current standards and quality to the next level”, explains Susan.

Not only is she dedicated to the highest quality products and services, Susan is a firm believer in giving back to her industry and supporting her peers in their effort to operate with efficient business practices.  As a member of the Gift Basket Association, sharing knowledge and ideas with peers are part of the learning process.  Susan continues, “There is a level of pride that I take as a gift basket professional and working toward earning my certification later this year is a goal that will acknowledge the dedication I have for my industry.  By attending the convention I will qualify to complete the course materials for the Gift Basket Certification program, while participating in other education and activities during the convention event.”  Susan is constantly looking to offer more creative ideas to bring back to her customers and attending conventions and participating in industry educational opportunities is one of the ways she accomplishes her goals.
