The main reason for continuing education is to assure the highest possible standards for the occupational therapist profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a condition of licensure. Professional Development Resources (http://www.pdresources.org) Continuing Education Requirements Montana-licensed occupational therapists are required as a condition of licensing to complete ten hours of continuing education every year.
