SpriteRoom Beta 1 Looks to Add Models for Indy Content Authors

Spritesheets are increasingly popular, and YankeeRino's free beta explores new directions for performance gaming and web sites.

April 26, 2013 - PRLog -- YankeeRino is excited to release beta 1 of its new SpriteRoom sprite sheet editor. Increasingly popular, sprite sheets, or sprite strips, arrange many images onto a single image for faster loading on web sites. Yankee Rino's SpriteRoom, now in beta for 64 bit Windows 7 and 8, streamlines the development process and allows for content creation based on real images.

Seemlessly integrated into Windows, SpriteRoom let's you select a folder from "my pictures", and SpriteRoom instantly creates a sprite strip on screen.  Users can select multiple images at once and apply rotation, brightness, contrast, cropping and chroma key. Unlike other tools that exist to support hand drawn content, SpriteRoom facilitates a process based on images.  SpriteRoom is useful to optimize product galleries, toolstrips in applications, and, above all, video games based on real models and real images of real things.

SpriteRoom BETA 1 is available for free from http://www.yankeerino.com/spriteroom.bhs.
