London Internet Exchange magazine now online: Keeping UK Network Traffic Local

The latest edition of the LINX member magazine - HotLINX33 - is now available to download. This publication looks at the stories behind the Internet and how the industry developing in different markets around the world.

The lead story in this issue is the topic of local peering. Since the last edition LINX has held regional events in Belfast in Northern Ireland and Edinburgh in Scotland with further meetings planned for Manchester and Birmingham in England. Local peering is important and can have great benefits for the digital economy in different areas and for Internet end users. Find out why on pages 10 and 11.

In our News pages we have stories on LINX's twinning with the Zambia Internet Exchange, the first Middle East Peering Forum, the Open IX initiative and also the LINX Engineering team's work at the Extreme Networks' labs in Carolina, USA.
