GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - April 25, 2013 - PRLog -- World Wide Security Group announces the appointment of Seth Barcus, as Director of Managed Services. Barcus will head the company’s growth initiatives in the areas of hosted access control and video systems. World Wide Security operates its own UL-listed, New York City Fire Approved monitoring and dispatch center located at their headquarters in Garden City. “We are thrilled to have Seth on our team and his industry knowledge will be an incredible benefit for our customers looking to go to the next level,” stated Ken Mara, President & CEO of World Wide Security.

“This is a very exciting time for consumers and businesses to take advantage of on-demand security products providing instant access to security dispatchers to address their needs. Our central station is meeting the demand of these new service and product offerings available industry wide but often only seen in a high risk setting or on TV. We are bringing them to the local markets here on Long Island,” explained Mara.

Security has evolved with the market demand to provide video analytics, remote monitoring, access control, medical monitoring in any setting over most web enabled devices and through other communications modes.  More advances in technology means greater need for these products to perform multiple tasks. “I have long admired the work World Wide does in the New York region and wanted to be part of initiatives they are involved with to bring advanced systems to the industry. I had been in discussions with them on and off for about a year. World Wide has the technology and the expertise to meet the demand of any customer’s security goal. The design and installation team is often called on to test this advanced equipment long before it hits the market for public consumption.  I look forward to expanding the market penetration of these products and services in these areas for World Wide Security,” stated Seth Barcus, Director of Managed services.

Seth Barcus has been a member of the security industry for 20-years developing technology-based services for high-density housing such as Cyberdoorman, a popular remote monitoring service with city apartment dwellers. He is also known for implementing best practices in central station communication platforms to achieve greater response proficiency.
